28/09/2010 Shop Road Ride will be on as usual.

As many of you know the nights are closing in, and its beginning to get dark too early.

But tonights shop road ride will continue as usual this evening meeting at the shop at 6:00pm and the route shall start by going up the Whiteway, turn off at Calmsden then onto Bibury, to Chedworth then back down the Whiteway back to the shop. It should roughly take about 1hr and 20mins depending on average speed! So bring lights ! ! !


(Also tonight we need to know if any of you are interested in Ride 24/7 winter jersey and bib tights, if so we will write down the size you want and get it ordered)!

We will let you know via this blog whether the shop ride will be on next Tuesday.

23/09/2010 - MTB RIDE AT CRANHAM WOODS*

Due to the success of last weeks Mtb ride at Cranham woods we shall be doing the same thing this week.

If you would like to come for a ride through the woods then we shall be meeting at the shop at 5:30 and leaving at 5:45.

If you have lights we highly recommend you bring them (as we found out last week) it got dark very quickly.

This coming Sunday a few of us are doing a 105.2 mile road ride!

Your more than welcome to join us, there shall be a coffee stop about half way.
Make sure you bring some money and plenty of energy bars/gels.

Shall meet outside the shop at 10:00 am and depart at 10:15.
The picture above is of the route , and we will print of several copies just so everyone has the route with them.

Tonight's ride will be at 6:00pm at the shop.
Route will be shorter tonight and pace shall be the usual !

Weather is looking bad but then again it normally turns out nice!

Bring lights if you can just in-case we get caught out in the dark, as the nights are drawing in.

I wish I could say were going riding in the Alps but afraid not!

A few of us are meeting at the shop on Sunday for a 4 - 5 hour road training ride (no moaning) through the hills of Stroud and the roads of Tetbury.
With a coffee stop about half way.

The time we shall be meeting is 11:00am
